Blackjack Betting Systems

Here are a couple FREE Basic Blackjack Betting Systems! As you will see, these are OK systems that have their advantages and disadvantages, but can be used for a basic strategy.  The paid systems offer much more strategy and have a much higher winning percentage. I always reccomend the paid systems, but if you are on a budget, these may help you out in the mean time. Good Luck!

Paroli blackJack Betting System – A positive progression betting system, where you start by betting (1) unit, and if you win, you double your bet. When using the Paroli Blackjack betting system, it is important to set a limit as to how far you are Blackjack Money Managementwilling to streak before ending your progression.

For example, I have decided to set a progression limit of 3 wins before I reset the system.
• Hand 1 – Bet = $10 – WIN!
• Hand 2 – Bet = $20 – WIN!
• Hand 3 – Bet = $40 – WIN!
• Hand 4 – Bet = $10 – (Reset back to starting betting unit after 3rd win)
Advantage of the Paroli Blackjack betting system – If perfectly executed, a (3) win limit can quickly win you (7) units in just (3) hands. A loss will put you down only (1) unit at any one time.
Disadvantage of the Paroli Blackjack betting system – If you lose a hand in the middle of a win streak, you lose ALL profit and momentum built from previous winning hands in the streak.

The Martingale blackjack betting system – One of the oldest and most commonly used basic blackjack betting systems. This is a negative progression betting system, based on the probability of losing (x) amount of hands in a row. In a Martingale Blackjack betting strategy, you start by betting (1) unit, and if you win, you continue to bet just (1) unit again. If you lose, you continue to double your bet until you win (also known as a “chase”). Then, after winning you return back to (1) unit.
For example:
• Hand 1 – Bet = $10 – WIN
• Hand 2 – Bet = $10 – Lose
• Hand 3 – Bet = $20 – Lose
• Hand 4- Bet = $40 – Lose
• Hand 5 – Bet = $80 – WIN
• Hand 6 – Bet = $10 – (Reset back to starting betting unit after a Win)
Advantages of the Martingale Blackjack Betting Strategy – Each time you win a bet, you will cover all previous losses and win a net profit of 1 unit. Therefore, you will always be up after each and every win.
Disadvantages of the Martingale Blackjack betting strategy – Very risky! Blackjack decks and shoes can go cold quickly, often losing 5-6 times in a row. You start to risk a VERY HIGH amount of money for a 1 unit win. For example, say your starting betting unit is $10. If you lost 6 hands in a row, your 7th bet would be for $740 ($10, $20, $40, $80, $160, $320) to win a NET Profit of only $10! Is your bankroll big enough to cover this? Theoretically speaking, if you had a big enough bankroll to cover any series of losses, you would never lose! That is why casinos have set table betting limits, to combat these types of players. It’s not uncommon to see a $10 minimum table with a $200 limit. This would only allow you to possibly “chase” 4 losses before you would hit the table max.
